Blue Ridge Scenic Railway’s fall rides run today and Tuesday
The railway’s fall-foliage rides are listed for Nov. 2-3, with 2-hour and 4-hour options from the Blue Ridge depot as the fall schedule nears its end.

What riders can expect
Blue Ridge Scenic Railway has fall-foliage rides listed for Monday and Tuesday, so anyone wanting a close-by autumn outing has a short window this week. The listing shows the trains leaving from 241 Depot Street in Blue Ridge and says the rides are available as 2-hour or 4-hour trips.
The shorter Express Tour is designed for riders who want more time in Downtown Blue Ridge, while the 4-hour Extended Tour includes a 2-hour layover in McCaysville/Copperhill. The route is 26 miles round-trip along the Toccoa River.
The tourism listing says tickets sell out fast, and the railway’s fall-rides calendar runs through Nov. 3. If you want one of the last posted fall departures, this is the window.
